But just a break from daily mundane stuffs like work, stress from various things like matriculation, starting of a whole new school life. Little things like these build up and form vines around your heart making you tired of just life in particular.
You just wanna throw everything aside, grab a loved one or just yourself, and go on a getaway to somewhere far where no one recognizes you. A place where you truly can be free, with no obligations, nothing to hold you back from being who you really wanna be, doing everything you've ever dreamed of doing. Running on a field of clean and nature-scented grass patch that seems endless into the horizon, into the line that brings the sky and land tgt. And with every step you take, you leave behind you every single matter that has ever caused you stress, heartache, sorrow, tears, unhappiness. You lie down on the same grass patch just gazing far into the clear blue sky. You feel the heat of the sun tingling on your skin but the cool breeze from the vastness of nature surrounds you and compensates for the heat. And you'll walk out from that grass patch a brand new, stronger, happier, and lighter person.
But we all know this rarely ever happens IRL. Your parents are back at home worrying about your safety, your pets are waiting for you to feed them, your workload is piling up in the office, your bills are being left unpaid. In this realistic and materialistic world, one can never be free of obligations. And as much as I hate for this dream to end, I'm reminded that I'm sitting in my room, surrounded by four walls that seem to be closing in on me as days go by. This feeling is almost claustrophobic.
Time waits for no one. You can never be truly free of anything. Running away only pushes your obligations aside, allowing you to deal with them at a later time. But at the end of the day, they'll still be there. This is life and everyone just have to accept this cruel fact.
I want to be free.
